Lisa discovered CrossFit 4.5 years ago when she was seeking a group fitness class to continue with her weight loss journey. One class at CrossFit Celsius, and she was hooked. She loves the challenge of self-improvement that CrossFit provides, as well as the sense of community within the CrossFit world.
Exercise and well-being have always been 2 of Lisa’s passions – she was very engaged in team sports throughout High School and College. She spent several years teaching group exercise classes and training clients at the YMCA while attending college. CrossFit has been a natural extension of her competitive experience and passion to help and mentor others. That passion to help others has led Lisa to complete her CF-L1 Training 2 years ago, and to coach both Fundamentals and CrossFit Classes at CrossFit Celsius. She also regularly helps out athletes who are interested in dialing in their nutrition to improve their performance in the gym.

Lisa is planning on continuing her CrossFit education by earning her CF-L2 Certificate within the next 6 months, and regularly takes online classes to increase her CrossFit knowledge.

As a coach, nothing makes her happier than when one of her athletes achieves something they didn’t think was possible. She believes in building “good” movement patterns, and mastering lifts before adding weight or intensity. She strives to help her athletes to become the best versions of themselves on a daily basis.
